In this 3-hour virtual, hands-on session, you will learn to properly execute smudging, color melting and root shadows by understanding the fundamentals of toning and how to work with underlying pigment to successfully incorporate these techniques into your work behind the chair. This class will also clarify what products are ideal to use for each technique. You’ll understand key points of difference between root smudge and color melt so that you can pick which one is appropriate for your client. Each Signature Artist will deliver their own finished look and work with you on the techniques used.
